Dinner in K-town

One of our favorite restaurants in Koreatown

Open 24 hours with a name and logo that is the Chinese character "San" (pronounced sahn) which means "Mountain" is a place like many Korean restaurants in Los Angeles located in a busy strip mall.

Unlike the rest however, they are famous for their samgyetang which is a ginseng chicken soup - literally a whole chicken stuffed with rice, garlic, ginseng, and jujube floating in a clean bone broth. Restore your energy with this dish or order from a menu with a handful of other Korean fare, all served with a side of prerequisite, made-in-house kimchi.
